そろそろ更新を再開しようと思います。
書いてなかった時期で一番おおきな出来事はルータメンテでサービスが停止してしまったことくらいです。
また 8/7-14 は大阪に帰省して羽を伸ばしてました。

帰省中に 955BE を導入したのですが、3.6GHz で安定稼動して DDR3 もかなり感触良いのでこのマシンを kiku と名づけてサーバにしました。
SUZUME の 9600BE@2.4GHz を ReJEC.NET@co2 の後継機とするつもりでしたが、この kiku のほうがはるかに速いのでこれを後継機にする予定です。
24 時間稼動開始してるのでころあいを見てセットアップの開始をします。
一応 2.6.30.4 の kernel に Vserver patch-pre14 を適用して走らせてます。
955BE 購入日に 965BE が出てきて驚きましたが、自分は 400MHz 刻み(2.0, 2.4, 2.8, 3.2, 3.6GHz)で使いたいので 955BE でも 965BE(2.7万円) でも常用周波数変わらないから 955BE(2万円) で問題ない。
いろいろな事情より HGST 7K1000.B 1TB のシングル HDD しか kiku にはさせずに石川に帰ってきたのでマシンの信頼性は現状の co2 とあまりかわらないかも。
ただ、パーツほぼ全部新品なのでエージングによる故障に関しては kiku のほうがいいかも。
あまりに 955BE@3.6GHz が良いので自分用にも 955BE を。A7DA 3.0 を通販で購入してあとはケースとメモリと CPU クーラーの到着待ち。
XFS logversion=2, logbsize=256k の設定が予想以上に良い感じなので ext4 をメインにするつもりでしたが、XFS メインに戻すかも。
もうちょっとベンチ取る必要ありますが、おもしろい数値がとれたら記事にするかも。

This is lone of the pernicious effects of affirmative action. In our PC/affirmative skirmish culture, we likely to discern the achievements and promotions of minorities as a consequence of affirmative effectiveness policies instead of solitary diligence and talent. This undermines these very achievements.
Another ungovernable here is that it sets altruist honesty at odds with the higher splendid morality. If the higher decency is common to judge the Mass murder, fatal disease outbreaks, etc, as advantageous, while forgiving moralness will arbitrate them criminal, then the ‘good’ in each of these moralities are different. Admissible on the higher ideals is not what we property by good.
